Hey guys, thanks for checking out this weeks post. One of the things I always hear while I’m working the counter goes something like this “I want to get a tattoo that no one else has, not just some piece of flash off the wall.” Well let met let you in on a little secret, a lot of that flash is some of the most original designs you can get. Everyone has this idea that everyone else that walks through the door just picks something off the wall and calls it a day when in reality that almost never happens. 95% of our flash was hand painted by our artists and has just been hanging there ever since. So you’re not sure what design you want? Find a tattoo you like hanging in our lobby and ask to get it from the artist who painted it and chances are you’ll be the only person in town that has it…that and the artist will probably be so happy to finally get to tattoo it that they’ll do a god damn back flip. Just something to think over the next time you come in.
Our walk in game was on point this week. Everyone stayed busy. Half the shop has been preparing to be out of town this weekend for conventions. Both Iron Tiger and Tattoo You are looking forward to participating in the St. Patricks Day Party, Tattoo Contest & Hospice Benefit at Roxy’s on March 17th. Check out the links for details.
Gabe, Lars, Cody and Ben will be tattooing at The Real Deal Tattoo Convention in Kansas City on March 14th-16th. On those same dates Moe and Morgan will be at the Salt Lake City International Tattoo Convention. If you’re going to be in either one of those areas this weekend be sure to stop by their booths and hang out for a bit.

Tuesday’s upon us again so here’s this week’s update. Everyone was settling back into their grove after having so many people gone for the Texas convention. Gabe did some matching whale tattoos on old friends of his. Moe spent the weekend tattooing out in Kansas City. Cody found some space in between his numerous appointments to do a birthday tattoo on our friend Bowman. Dan did some cool walk-ins and just about convinced me to buy a taxidermied trout from him. Colin did a pretty slick bobcat on one of his regulars (pics to come). Lars spent the better part of Saturday evening outlining a huge traditional chest piece. Morgan beat just about everyone on the walk-in game. She stayed late a few nights just to help us keep up with the demand. Phil kept pretty busy with walk-ins also.
I mentioned last week that we will have people at The Real Deal Tattoo Convention coming up in Kansas City on March 14th-16th. Apparently we will also have some guys at the Salt Lake City International Tattoo Convention on those same dates. As I said before, I’ll let you know ASAP which artist will be where.

Alright guys, here’s this week’s update. Gabe, Lars, Moe and Morgan were out of town for most of the week at the West Texas Tattoo Convention. They’ll all be back this week and available for walk-ins and appointments. Lars might even have some of his new prints (see below) left over from the convention for sale. Chris and Luke from All Star Tattoo came into town to cover shifts and hang out. Our friend Donnie from Evermore also stopped in for a visit. Our weekend was crazy once again. We had so many walk-ins that we had to start sending some of them to Tattoo You (our other shop) just to fit everyone in. We appreciate everyone being so patient and understanding.
The Real Deal Tattoo Convention is coming up next month in Kansas City. Keep checking our Tuesday updates to find out which of our artists will be there.

What’s up guys, here’s your iron tiger update for the week. This week kicked us right in the teeth; we were crazy busy. So much so that it almost felt like Friday the 13th. Gabe outlined a rad traditional chest piece and continued work on the huge “old man and the sea” thigh piece he’s been working on. Dan and Colin both worked on some cool cover-ups. Cody tattooed an awesome crown on one of his regular’s throat. Moe started outlining a Japanese back piece on Lars (pics to come). Morgan got to do a bunch of cool walk-ins including a big black and grey eagle. Chris from All Star came out to hang out and cover for Lars on Friday.
This coming weekend Gabe, Lars, Moe and Morgan will be at the West Texas Tattoo Convention in San Angelo, TX. If you’re going to be in the area you should go check them out. In addition to solid tattoos Lars and possibly others will have prints for sale. Get on it.

Hey thanks for checking out this week’s update. We had a bunch of our friends come through to visit lately. Tally from The Martlet Tattoo Parlor in LA and Patience from Trader Bobs both stopped by over the weekend. Jon Osiris came through a day or two later. Gabe outlined a huge “Old Man and the Sea” thigh piece on our friend Max. He and Lars have also been working on a project that may eventually end up on a tattoo themed series of Bic lighters. Cody spent the day on Saturday doing an appointment over at Tattoo You which was cool considering that’s where he first started tattooing back in the day. Dan spent the weekend tattooing at Daddy O’s out in IL. Colin started a Super Mario half sleeve. Phil sent me a treasure trove of tattoo pics he’d been hoarding for awhile. You can check them out along with the normal weekly pics below. Cool people, cool paintings, cool tats; that was our week. No complaints.
Gabe, Lars, Moe and Morgan will be at the West Texas Tattoo Convention in San Angelo, TX from Feb 21-23. Go keep them company and get a panther head or something.

Hey guys, our awesome Missouri weather knocked the Tuesday update back a day so here we go. Gabe had his usual array of appointments this week. Colin tattooed a rad eagle on his brother’s leg for his very first tattoo. Dan had a huge mix of interesting appointments and walk-ins. Saw some new paintings from Cody and Ben. Moe went out to St. Louis on Saturday to tattoo at All Star. The winter ice storm that had most of the town shut down for a few days didn’t even phase us. We did non-stop walk-ins and piercings all weekend.
Just a heads up Gabe, Lars, Moe and Morgan will be at the West Texas Tattoo Convention in San Angelo, TX from Feb 21-23. If you’re going be sure to stop by their booth.

What’s up everyone, it’s that time of the week again. Gabe and Cody spent most of this past week at the Star of Texas Tattoo Art Revival in Austin. They’ll be back this week and available for appointments and walk-ins so get at them if you’ve got the itch. Our friends Patience from Trader Bobs in STL and Jef Wright from Wealthy Street Tattoo in Grand Rapids both stopped by to hang out with us for a couple days. They’re both great tattooers that you should check out if you’re ever in their areas. It seemed like everyone had a painting or flash sheets they were working on this week. Check out a few of them below. Judging by how crazy we were over the weekend, it’s safe to say that the students are definitely back from holiday break. For those of you who might be new to town or just don’t know, we’re open 7 days a week and we’ll do walk-ins for tattoos and piercings all day, every day. If you have questions just stop by the shop or give us a call at 573.499.1200.

Hey, thanks for checking out this week’s update. Our friend Patience from Trader Bobs dropped by the shop on her way through town this weekend to hang out and do an appointment. A couple of the guys got some little tattoos from her too. Gabe had a bit of everything come in for him over the week. He finished up some session work on a couple people, did a few walk-ins including a black and gray portrait and hooked one of our friends up with a rad native elephant piece. Ben and Casey were both in and out of the shop for appointments throughout the week. Phil did another session on a massive skull sleeve he’s had going for awhile. Dan finished the line work on a pretty awesome buffalo piece. Walk-ins and piercings kept everyone else busy.
Just as a reminder Gabe, Cody and Katy will be working the Star of Texas Tattoo Art Revival in Austin, TX on Jan 24-26th. They’ll be there with Chris Quidgeon, Angie Meuth, Bare Knuckle Irons and Workhorse Irons. If you’re in the area be sure to check them out.
