Iron Tiger Tuesday

Thanks for checking out this week’s update. We had some people on the road a bit this week. Phil was tattooing at All Star in St. Louis and Moe was out at Freaks on Broadway in Kansas City. Casey Maddox came up to hang out and cover shifts over the weekend. It’s always good to have his help. Our dude Talley from the Martlet Tattoo Parlor in LA came and hung out with us over the weekend. Lars tattooed him using an old acetate stencil which I’d never seen done before. All together, just a super chill week. Cool people, no problems.

For those of you in STL that might be looking to get tattooed by Cody, he’s tattooing at Iron Age yesterday and today. Get at him.

Iron Tiger Tuesday

Hey thanks for checking out this week’s update. Friday the 13th was so wild! It was the largest one we’ve ever done by far. We opened at noon to a line of about 20 people and they just kept coming all day. The plan had been to keep it going from noon to midnight but so many people came in and signed up that we were forced to stop taking tattoos at 7:30 just to get through the backlog. Despite how busy it was we still were able to have fun with it. It’s kind of a rare thing these days to see people so pumped to pick a design straight off a flash sheet. I got a good laugh out of listening to the tattooers argue over who’s sheet was getting the most play. Everyone worked their asses off and 12 hours (and almost 180 tattoos) later we closed up and went to Roxy’s to celebrate. A huge thanks to everyone who came out and participated. You guys made this thing a success for us and we really appreciate it. Keep your eyes on your calendars for the next Friday the 13th.

As for the rest of this past week, it was solid. The tattooers tattooed, the piercers pierced and the world kept turning. Here’s your pics for the week.

Iron Tiger Tuesday

Yep, it’s Tuesday again. Thanks for checking out this week’s update. Gabe was on his appointment game most of the week but did actually manage to squeeze in a couple walk-in requests. He did a rad Disney doorknob on his girlfriend’s knee among other things. The rest of the crew stayed busy taking care of walk-in’s, doing appointments here and there and painting sheets for Friday the 13th.

So we’re running our Friday the 13th special this Friday and for those of you who didn’t see the Facebook post about the rules, here’s a recap for you. We will have sheets of flash painted specifically for the event. They will be displayed in our lobby the day of the event. There’s a sneak peek of one of the sheets posted below. The deal only applies to tattoos from those specific sheets. The designs from those sheets can not be altered or resized (other than having them flipped to fit the appropriate side of the body). Any design from those sheets will be $13 with a mandatory $7 tip so you’ll be spending no less than $20 total (even with the mandatory tip you’re still getting tattooed for $30 less than our shop minimum). These will all be done on a walk-in, first come-first serve basis. Our hours on Friday are Noon-Midnight so get here asap to beat the rush. This is a cool promo that we look forward to every year so come out and lets have fun with it!

Iron Tiger Tuesday

Here’s your Tuesday post for the week. I’m gonna keep this one short and sweet. Gabe and Dan made it back from the Hell City convention on Tuesday. They got to do some cool tattoos and Dan won a new work station. Moe and Colin spent most of the week in St. Louis. Colin was working at Iron Age and Moe was at Trader Bobs all weekend. Casey was back up at the shop covering shifts again. Cody got some prints made of a painting he did. He’s selling them for a reasonable price so get at him if you’re interested. There’s a pic below. Everyone just sorta relaxed and did there own thing this week, it was pretty chill overall.

Oh ya, there was something I was suppose to mention about next Friday…

Iron Tiger Tuesday

Hey, it’s Tuesday again so lets get into it. As I’ve mentioned in the past couple of posts Gabe and Dan were out of town for the Hell City Convention in Phoenix this past weekend. There’s some pics of tattoos Gabe did below. Mikey Wheeler from Mercy Seat Tattoo was in town for a few days doing appointments at the shop. He outlined a pretty crazy Phoenix back piece. Our friend Casey Maddox came up to help cover some shifts again. Our guys are on the road so often that he seems to be at the shop a couple days a week. We appreciate the help. We had alot or really cool walk ins this week. That brown recluse that Cody did is still creeping me out a bit. During what little down time we had Lars did a tequila worm bro tat on Morgan. All in all a solid week.

Iron Tiger Tuesday

Thanks for coming back for this week’s update. Everyone seemed to have a good mix of appointments and walk-ins. Gabe spent the weekend tattooing at Iron Age in St. Louis. The husband of one of Lars’s appointments over the weekend runs tattooflashguy.com. He brought a ton of old acetate stencils that we all proceeded to sift through and buy. He had alot of cool stories about growing up around his dad’s shop.

For our AZ friends, Gabe and Dan will be tattooing at the Hell City Tattoo Fest in Phoenix on Aug 23rd-25th. Get at them for appointments or just stop by their booth.

We got a new shipment of guy shirts in this week. It’s a reorder of the Mortal Kombat design (pic below). We have them in Small-3XL. Get ’em while they’re hot!

We’d also like to say Welcome Back to all the college students. We know you’ve been kicking around an idea for a tattoo or piercing in your head for awhile now. Stop by and we’ll get it figured out for you.

Iron Tiger Tuesday

Okay, this past week was awesome. First off, we threw Gabe a surprise birthday party on Saturday. His family and friends showed up from all over the place to wish him well. We had a hot dog vender catering the party that served us dogs, brats and philly cheesesteak sandwiches all day. It was a super chill day of hang outs with good people. Happy Birthday bro.

It’s great to see the college kids starting to roll back into town. They kept up busy pretty much all week. Gabe started one of the biggest back pieces I’ve ever seen on our friend Jeremiah. I’m not sure if Dan stops tattooing or painting to sleep anymore. He did a “self-portrait” on our friend Jim Honey on Saturday that he found on a deck of weird old cards that Cody brought in. There’s a pic posted below. Also saw some new paintings from Colin, Cody and Moe.

For you ladies out there that missed out on our first run of women’s v-necks I’m happy to let you know that we have a new batch in. Stop by the shop and get ya one.

Iron Tiger Tuesday

Here’s your weekly dose of Iron Tiger. Everyone stayed pretty busy this past week. The paintings just keep coming. I know I saw at least four new ones from Cody. Morgan spent most of the week tattooing at Trader Bob’s. Colin worked a couple days at Iron Age. Dan made some headway on the Sailor Jerry project he’s been working on. Our friend Casey came down again to cover some shifts. All in all a solid week.

Gabe and Dan will be at the Hell City Tattoo Fest in Phoenix, AZ on Aug 23-25th. If you’re in the area you should stop by and check them out.

Just want to say farewell to Adam, our counter guy. This coming Thursday is his last day. It’s been good working with you bud.
