Iron Tiger Tuesday

Hey guys, welcome back. This week we had our bud Mikey Wheeler from Mercy Seat Tattoo hanging out and doing appointment work. We also got to hang out with our friend Mando from Immaculate Tattoo while he was in town over the weekend. Gabe, Cody and Dan all made progress on some tattoos they’ve had in the works (pics below). Phil got to do some fun bro tats. Everyone’s been busy getting their Friday the 13th sheets in order. Keep an eye out for a preview of those sheets in the next couple days.

Oh by the way, for the first time ever we’ll be running a piercing special on Friday the 13th! Here’s what you’re looking at: LOBES $13, ANYTHING ELSE $20! NO DERMALS, GENITALS, CHEEKS OR SURFACE PIERCING. LIMIT 3 PER CUSTOMER. CASH ONLY!

If you still don’t know how the Friday the 13th tattoo special works, here you go. We will have sheets of flash painted specifically for the event. They will be displayed in our lobby the day of the event. The deal only applies to tattoos from those specific sheets. The designs from those sheets can not be altered or resized (other than having them flipped to fit the appropriate side of the body). Any design from those sheets will be $13 with a mandatory $7 tip so you’ll be spending no less than $20 total (even with the mandatory tip you’re still getting tattooed for $30 less than our shop minimum). Cash only please. These will all be done on a walk-in, first come-first serve basis. Our hours on Friday are Noon-Midnight so get here asap to beat the rush.

Iron Tiger Tuesday

Hey guys, here’s what’s been going on at the shop lately. Gabe made some headway on a few different projects he’s had in the works lately including a color session on our friend Max’s fighting Indian/horse piece. Cody did session work on a few different large tribal pieces. Colin spent most of the week working at Iron Age. Casey came out to cover shifts and did a cool snake/rose on a walk-in. He’s also been putting the final touches on some artwork that will be featured in Show Class Magazine. Phil did another session on a massive (mostly) black and gray sleeve he’s been working on. As usual, most everyone had some painting in the works. Lars finished one that you can check out below. Everyone went out to Roxy’s on Wednesday night to make sure our friend Irish Peter would be as hung over as possible on his trip back to Ireland. We’ll miss you bud, see you again in a couple years.

Iron Tiger Tuesday

Hey thanks for checking out this weeks update. Gabe did the final session on a koi fish cover up on our friend Mel. Cody spent a few days working out at Iron Age in St. Louis. Casey came up to work for him and hang out. He also did a cool phonograph tattoo on his lady for her birthday. The rest of the crew pretty much stayed busy doing walk-ins and painting.

I want to take a second to thank our friend Mike Foley. His company MFCaseworks manufactures tattooer work stations that are absolutely amazing; a perfect blend of form, function and style. He dropped off some prototypes for the guys at the shop to test out and everyone is super pumped on them. Iron Tiger Tuesday

Hey guys, we had another solid week at the shop. Gabe did a rad black and gray hour glass half sleeve. He also started a tiger knee cap piece on our friend Adam. Colin got to do a really cool cobra. He also did a little dragon on Hunter. Cody stayed busy working on some new paintings when he wasn’t tattooing awesome skulls and roses on late night walk-ins. Dan spent most of his week doing walk-ins and trying to convince me to by an Oryx mount from him. Casey was at the shop again over the weekend covering Morgan while she was out of town. Phil started work on a Silent Hill half sleeve (pics to come). Moe did a sneaky Cheshire Cat for one of his appointments. Lars did a podcast about tattooing. You can find the link in a previous post. Like I said, solid week.

With the holidays coming up don’t forget that we have gift certificates available at the shop. Nothing says Merry Christmas like a bitchin’ eagle tattoo.
